2022 Sires
It is fair to say that we have been very aggressive in increasing both numbers of sheep and quality in the stud over the past three years. We have left no stone unturned in purchasing the very best Poll Dorset genetics in the country and using the latest technology to measure and identify those leading genetics.
We have simultaneously tripled the size of the stud, improved the Lambplan Terminal Carcase Production Index (TCP) from breed average to the top 10% of Lambplan and significantly reduced the birth weight breeding values of the Kentish Downs Poll Dorset stud.
