Kentish Downs has been making significant genetic progress with the investment of genomics testing and utilisation of ASBVs to guide the breeding direction into the future.

All Kentish Downs sheep are fully genomic tested. Helping to predict the traits that are not obvious to the naked eye, such as EQ. Genomic testing adds an extra layer to the measured data and the pedigree.
